Things # 6 : RSS and Newsreaders (Bloglines)

I have heard RSS a long time ago, and tried to use it before for some news websites, but at the end I just ignore it and didn't use it any longer.

Exploring Bloglines for the first time, is quite confusing, since all the links given on the reference is not working. But, after searching some alternative sources like Teacher's 2.0 Bloglines Tutorial, How to Use Bloglines and reading this 23things' blog help me a lot to understand what is RSS, newsreaders and how to manage all those things into single window management using Bloglines.

I would rather say that Bloglines is working like a scrapbook which collect all RSS that we want to follow, manage it and give us flexibility to read and find out the latest updates from websites, blogs, peoples, videos, etc.

I have added several blog, websites, widgets into my Bloglines, which some of the I follow their newsletters on my personal email account.

With the features given in Bloglines, I can start to collect several blogs, websites, videos, twitters and many other things that can be managed into single window management which is simpler and more efficient in time wise. Multiple dashboard to differentiate between public RSS and private RSS also a very useful feature that give me a flexibility to manage between private interest and things that can be shared for public. And again that is under single window management. It's perfect!
